Ninth Annual Taste of Sewickley Raises $125,000
The 2024 Taste of Sewickley event raised $125,000 in support of KidsVoice! A team effort from the hosts, volunteers chefs, coordinators, and servers created a magical evening of Asian-influenced cuisine for 70 guests at the home of Christian and John Stampfel.
Annually co-hosted by Chuck and Barb Moser and Greg and Susan Kaminski, each year's meal is inspired by a different type of cuisine. Guests were welcomed to the evening with a signature Lychee Lemonade cocktail. Courses from this year's Asian-influenced menu included sesame-crusted scallops with ginger chili sauce, Thai spring rolls, red curry soup with chicken, miso black cod, pork belly bao buns, and much more. Courses were paired with a matching wine, beer, or sake.
At the end of the evening, host Chuck Moser remarked to guests that this event was a wonderful way for the community to stand behind children in foster care in Allegheny County, who face a difficult road through no fault of their own, by helping KidsVoice serve as an essential source of advocacy and support.
Special thanks to the sponsors of the event, Enterprise Vision Technologies, Presidio, and World Wide Technology. View some snapshots from the evening below!
