ChildLine: Reporting Suspected Child Abuse and Neglect in PA
The Pennsylvania Department of Human Service's ChildLine—1-800-932-0313—accepts calls from the public and from professional sources 24 hours per day, 7 days per week. Any person may report suspected abuse, you can remain anonymous.
ChildLine provides information, counseling, and referral services for families and children to ensure the safety and well-being of the children of Pennsylvania. Each call is answered by a trained intake specialist who will interview the caller to determine the most appropriate course of action.
Questions they may ask include information about name and physical descriptions of the child and suspected perpetrator, location and type of incident, relationships, and contact information for involved parties. You can remain anonymous and are not required to provide personal contact information.
Mandatory reporters may also submit a report of suspected child abuse and neglect online.
