Protecting Children's Rights

KidsVoice provides a voice of hope, a voice for rights and a voice of experience for abused, neglected and at risk children who otherwise cannot speak for themselves. KidsVoice vigilantly guides each child through the court process and ensures that every agency involved meets the full range of the child’s needs. Through in-depth investigation, KidsVoice delivers informed recommendations and advocates in court and beyond for the child's best interests making a dramatic difference in the lives of children, parents and the community at large. KidsVoice ensures that the most appropriate services are in place to protect children from future harm, with the ultimate goal of providing a safe and permanent home for every child.

KidsVoice is excited to announce the return of our annual community event, Kites for Kids, taking place at the Pittsburgh Zoo and PPG Aquarium on Saturday, May 17th from 11am to 3pm. Kites for Kids is our signature annual event to raise awareness and much needed resources to protect our community's most vulnerable, abused and neglected children. In past years our community event has brought over 9000 visitors to the Pittsburgh Zoo & PPG Aquarium to raise awareness for foster care and child abuse prevention. The event consists of games, crafts, and kite-flying demonstrations taking place throughout the zoo and aquarium. The zoo will also be adorned with hundreds of client decorated kites to symbolize hope, a happy childhood and a chance to soar- things that many local children do not experience.
