sue’s run4kids

6th annual sue's run4kids

October 9, 2016

sue's run4kids is a 4-mile race held in beautiful Schenley Park, taking place on Sunday, October 9th at 8:30 a.m.  A combination of paved, tree-lined roads and crushed limestone trails set the course for this scenic chip-timed run.

We are also holding a 1-mile kids race for kids 10 and under.  All participating kids are guaranteed a medal, with special prizes for the 1st, 2nd and 3rd place finishers!  Each child must have a registered and participating parent (for safety and encouragement!).  Racing not your thing?  Good news!  We also have 2-mile and 1-mile fun runs and family walks, so there is something for everyone of every skill level!

As always, we will have our fantastic pre- and post-race party, complete with games, family-friendly activities, music, delicious FREE food and drinks, and a raffle with prizes you actually want to win!  All money raised benefits teenagers involved in the foster care system through the Lipman Youth Fund at KidsVoice.

This is a rain-or-shine event.  Register by September 1st to take advantage of early pricing and be guaranteed a race bag and shirt!
