Human Resource Coordinator – Part-Time (24-32 hours per week)

is seeking a human resources professional who has experience providing human
resource support to a staff of approximately 65 employees for recruiting,
training, new hire orientation, benefit administration, compensation, employee
relations, and other HR services.
Duties:

Coordinate the
hiring process for the agency through determining the appropriate source of
referral, posting, determining qualifications, scheduling, reference, clearances,
and written employment offer.

Conduct employee
orientation and work policy trainings.
·
Working knowledge
of employment related governmental laws and regulations (Title VII, FLSA, FMLA,
and Worker’s Compensation).
·
Update and
maintain Employee Handbook.
·
Maintain all
personnel, medical record information, and all HR forms. Maintain Human Resource Information System.
·
Recommend and
assist in the development of HR policies, rules, procedures and programs.
·
Coordinate
employment status changes.
·
Answer staff questions
regarding agency policies and benefits.
·
Coordinate the
open enrollment process.
·
FMLA tracking and
coordination of employee leave requests.
The
candidate will have at least 3-5 years of human resource experience. PHR certification and non-profit experience
preferred. Excellent organizational
skills, attention to detail and strong communication skills are required.
