Human Resource Coordinator – Part-Time (24-32 hours per week)

KidsVoice is seeking a human resources professional who has experience providing human resource support to a staff of approximately 65 employees for recruiting, training, new hire orientation, benefit administration, compensation, employee relations, and other HR services.

 

Duties:

·         Coordinate the hiring process for the agency through determining the appropriate source of referral, posting, determining qualifications, scheduling, reference, clearances, and written employment offer.

·         Conduct employee orientation and work policy trainings.

·         Working knowledge of employment related governmental laws and regulations (Title VII, FLSA, FMLA, and Worker’s Compensation).

·         Update and maintain Employee Handbook.

·         Maintain all personnel, medical record information, and all HR forms.  Maintain Human Resource Information System.

·         Recommend and assist in the development of HR policies, rules, procedures and programs.

·         Coordinate employment status changes.

·         Answer staff questions regarding agency policies and benefits.

·         Coordinate the open enrollment process.

·         FMLA tracking and coordination of employee leave requests.

 

The candidate will have at least 3-5 years of human resource experience.  PHR certification and non-profit experience preferred.  Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail and strong communication skills are required.

Director of Development
KidsVoice is seeking a development professional to increase the agency’s comprehensive development and communications efforts in order to build the financial capacity of the organization and increase visibility. The Director of Development is responsible for all aspects of fund development, including:

·         individual giving (annual fund and major gift programs);

·         corporate and foundation support;

·         special events;

·         public relations and marketing (to include management of media and public relations, especially e-communications, and coordination of all publications)

The successful candidate will have an ability to identify with and represent the KidsVoice mission; at least 3-5 years experience raising support from high-end donors, foundations and corporations; and a track record in raising five and six figure gifts.  Experience providing strategic direction, leadership, supervisory experience and the daily management of fundraising initiatives, and in creating and implementing a comprehensive fundraising plan is necessary.
